This report aims to give a robust understanding of NBS and its application for improved water quality in the Black Sea. It does not claim to be an exhaustive study or review of all NBS concepts or examples in the Black Sea. There are constantly new developments, even in the course of writing, new publications continue to be released. A table of resources of the most relevant NBS materials has been tabulated in Appendix A1.
